 NICE SET MATE. WHEEL KNOW-HOW.

# NICE LOOK.⏎ RIGHT DETAILS.

Start with the style. Get to grips with the numbers. Our wheel help hub makes the
shortlist a little less of a minefield.

### Find your look.

Clean spokes, intricate mesh or something that makes a bigger statement. [ Take a look ](https://www.nicesetmate.co.uk/wheel-styles/)

### Start with your car.

Choose your manufacturer, model and generation in the vehicle finder. [ Take a look ](https://www.nicesetmate.co.uk/by-car/)

### Ask the awkward one.

PCD, offset, centre bore — you don’t need all the answers before getting in touch.

 A LITTLE KNOW-HOW GOES A LONG WAY.

## The numbers.⏎ Without the head-scratching.

Wheel size is more than a diameter. These are the details you’ll see in a specification,
and what each one describes.

 HOW A SPECIFICATION CAN LOOK

### 8.5J × 18⏎ 5 × 112 · ET35

Illustrative numbers only — this is not a fitment recommendation. Centre bore,
load rating and clearance need checking too.

 01

### Diameter & width

Rim diameter and width are usually given in inches. Together with the tyre specification,
they affect the overall setup.

 02

### PCD

The fixing-hole pattern: 5 × 112 means five holes on a 112 mm pitch circle.

 03

### Offset / ET

The distance in millimetres between the wheel centreline and its hub mounting face.

 04

### Centre bore

The diameter of the centre opening that locates over the vehicle’s hub.

 05

### Load rating

The wheel’s specified load capacity. The required rating depends on the vehicle
and axle loads.

 06

### Clearance

The space around the brakes, suspension and bodywork. Matching the bolt pattern
alone does not establish clearance.

 BEFORE YOU HIT SEND.

## Give your question⏎ a head start.

A few useful details now make it easier to talk through your options.

 01

### Know the car.

Bring the make, model, year, trim and engine. Mention lowering, brake upgrades
or any other changes to the original setup.

 02

### Save the wheel.

Send the product name or link, preferred finish and the sizes you’re considering.
A reference photo helps explain the look.

 03

### Check the whole setup.

Wheel dimensions, tyres, fixings, load rating and clearances belong in the same
conversation. Ask a qualified fitter to check the proposed setup.
